The strikes took place on Sunday in several areas of the Nabatieh district, including Arab Salim, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Nabatieh and Kfar Reman.
In Arab Salim, two women were killed and six people, including two girls, were injured when an airstrike hit a house. In Nabatieh al-Fawqa, two other people were killed, according to Lebanese authorities.

The Israeli military said the strikes were carried out in response to two drones launched by Hezbollah toward Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. Israel said it targeted Hezbollah facilities and positions.
The attacks come despite a US-brokered framework agreement and ongoing efforts to reduce hostilities between Israel and Lebanon. Lebanese officials have condemned the latest strikes, while international efforts continue to prevent further escalation in the region.
