The Emir made the remarks while attending the launch of the Afrinvest fund in Kano.
Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II described Kano as a major commercial hub in Africa and urged business owners to embrace Islamic insurance to strengthen and facilitate commercial activities in the state and across Nigeria.
The Emir also led the opening of an ICT examination centre established within the Kano Emirate.

Speaking at the event, the centre’s chairman, Dr Ike Chioke, said the facility was established in the Kano Emirate to make it easier for students to sit for examinations, including JAMB. He expressed appreciation to the Emir for personally commissioning the centre.
